  The southern City of Suffolk in southeastern Virginia...

* Until 830 PM EDT.

* At 742 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Newsoms to 6 miles northwest of Gates to near
  Whaleyville, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and powerlines.

* Severe thunderstorms will be near...
  Suffolk, Gates, Newsoms, Como, Corapeake, and Whaleyville around 
  745 PM EDT.
  Roduco around 750 PM EDT.
  Murfreesboro, Gatesville, and Sunbury around 755 PM EDT.
  Winton and Cofield around 800 PM EDT.

Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include Tunis,
Menola, Savage, Chowan Beach, Suffolk Airport, Topsy, Mapleton,
Buckland, Carter, and Dort.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN NORTHAMPTON...
HERTFORD...GATES...AND SOUTHEASTERN SOUTHAMPTON COUNTIES AND THE
SOUTHERN CITY OF SUFFOLK WILL EXPIRE AT 830 PM EDT...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, gusty
winds and heavy rain are still possible with these thunderstorms.
