  Southeastern Elk County in southeastern Kansas...
  Southwestern Wilson County in southeastern Kansas...
  Northern Montgomery County in southeastern Kansas...
  Northeastern Chautauqua County in southeastern Kansas...

* Until 515 AM CDT.

* At 427 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Longton, or
  13 miles north of Sedan, moving east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Independence, Fredonia, Longton, Elk City, Elk Falls, Bolton,
  Sycamore, Hale, Buxton, Elk City Lake, Independence Airport, and
  Elk City State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Elk City, or 8 miles southwest of Neodesha, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
