* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Anderson County in east central Kansas...
  Southeastern Coffey County in east central Kansas...

* Until 100 AM CDT.

* At 1209 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 5 miles west of Richmond to 5 miles southwest of
  Garnett to near Neosho Falls, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Garnett, Colony, Greeley, Westphalia, Kincaid, Lone Elm, Harris,
  and Le Roy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 100 AM CDT
FOR ANDERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN COFFEY COUNTIES...

At 1223 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Richmond to 4 miles south of Garnett to 4 miles 
southwest of Colony, moving east at 30 mph. A second severe 
thunderstorm has developed just west of Le Roy, moving east at 25 
MPH.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Garnett, Colony, Greeley, Westphalia, Kincaid, Lone Elm, Harris, and
Le Roy.

...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR ANDERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN
COFFEY COUNTIES IS CANCELLED...

The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe
limits, and no longer pose an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.  However, small hail,
gusty winds and heavy rain are still possible with these
thunderstorms.
