* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northwestern Red Willow County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 530 PM CDT.

* At 427 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near McCook,
  moving northeast at 15 mph.

  THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR eastern Red Willow County.

  HAZARD...Three inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Public. At 422 PM CDT, two inch hail was reported 
           over McCook.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. 
           Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, 
           siding, and vehicles.

* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Red Willow County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
