Central Red Willow County in southwestern Nebraska...
* Until 600 PM CDT.
* At 513 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near McCook,
moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Trained weather spotters. At 512 PM CDT, tennis ball
sized hail was reported over McCook.
IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect
wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.
* This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
central Red Willow County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to

At 542 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles east of
McCook, moving east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
