  Eastern Hayes County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 626 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of
  Palisade, or 11 miles south of Hayes Center, moving northeast at 20
  mph.

  HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail 
           damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect 
           wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hayes Center State Wildlife Management Area.

This includes Highway 83 between mile markers 35 and 41.

FOR SOUTHWESTERN FRONTIER AND SOUTHEASTERN HAYES COUNTIES...

At 642 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles east of
Palisade, or 10 miles southeast of Hayes Center, moving northeast at
15 mph.

HAZARD...Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind

SOUTHEASTERN HAYES COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 715 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for
southwestern Nebraska.
