* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
South Central Catron County in west central New Mexico...
* Until 445 PM MDT.
* At 416 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 19 miles
southwest of Beaverhead, or 47 miles southeast of Reserve, moving
northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Mainly rural areas of South Central Catron County.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

FOR SOUTH CENTRAL CATRON COUNTY...
At 435 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles south of
Beaverhead, or 49 miles southeast of Reserve, moving northeast at 40
mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
