* At 300 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Las Vegas,
moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Las Vegas.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 25 between Mile Markers 346 and 349...and
between Mile Markers 353 and 354.
State Road 104 between Mile Markers 1 and 12.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing damaging winds and large
hail.
Accumulations of small hail on roads can create very slick and
hazardous driving conditions.

FOR CENTRAL SAN MIGUEL COUNTY...
At 312 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 6 miles east of Las
Vegas, moving southeast at 5 mph.
HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Las Vegas Airport reported an 81 mph wind gust at 3PM.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable
tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes,
roofs, and outbuildings.
Locations impacted include...
Las Vegas.
This includes State Road 104 between Mile Markers 2 and 12.
