The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Monmouth County in central New Jersey...
  Southeastern Middlesex County in northern New Jersey...

* Until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 922 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Clearbrook Park, or 12 miles south of New
  Brunswick, moving east at 30 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Brownville, Strathmore, East Freehold, Jamesburg, Robertsville,
  Shrewsbury, Red Bank, Middletown, Laurence Harbor, Clearbrook Park,
  Concordia, Keansburg, Yorketown, Marlboro, Keyport, Whittingham,
  Eatontown, Holmdel, North Middletown, and Matawan.

This includes Garden State Parkway between mile markers 106 and 122.

At 933 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Yorketown, or 15 miles south of New Brunswick,
moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Keansburg, Yorketown, Marlboro, Strathmore, East Freehold, Eatontown,
Holmdel, Robertsville, Shrewsbury, North Middletown, Red Bank,
Englishtown, Lincroft, Morganville, Middletown, Matawan, Tinton
Falls, Freehold, Little Silver, and West Long Branch.

The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.

heavy rain are still possible with this thunderstorm.
