* Tornado Warning for...
  A Small Portion of East-Central Los Angeles County in southwestern 
  California...

* Until 1045 AM PST.

* At 1020 AM PST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located over Alhambra, moving north at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Alhambra...
  Pasadena...
  Monterey Park...
  San Gabriel...
  El Monte...
  and Temple City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR CENTRAL LOS ANGELES COUNTY IS CANCELLED...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been 
cancelled. However, damaging winds remain likely and a Severe 
Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area. 

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for 
a small portion of East-Central Los Angeles County in southwestern 
California.
