The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Dickinson County in central Kansas...
  Northwestern Geary County in east central Kansas...
  Southeastern Clay County in north central Kansas...

* Until 1000 PM CDT.

* At 926 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 4 miles northeast of Talmage, moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. At 920 PM an 
           emergency manager reported a funnel cloud 6 miles west of 
           Talmage.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Wakefield, Milford Lake, Milford, and Junction City.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a

NORTHWESTERN GEARY AND SOUTHEASTERN CLAY COUNTIES...

At 939 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 4 miles south of Wakefield, moving northeast at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and golf ball size hail.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported a funnel cloud. At 930 PM CDT law 
         enforcement reported a funnel cloud 8 miles northeast of 
         Talmage.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Milford Lake, Wakefield, and Milford.
