The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Jackson County in northeastern Alabama...
  Northeastern Madison County in north central Alabama...
  South central Franklin County in Middle Tennessee...

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 403 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over New Market, or 7 miles northeast of Moores Mill, 
  moving east at 45 mph. Multiple areas of rotation noted near New 
  Market, AL.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  northwestern Jackson, northeastern Madison and south central
  Franklin Counties, including the following locations... Estillfork,
  Francisco, Princeton, Larkin, and Hytop.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

miles northeast of Moores Mill, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado. At 410 PM, downed 
         power lines were reported in New Market, AL along Hurricane 
         Rd.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Skyline, Hytop, Estillfork, Francisco, and Larkin.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN JACKSON...NORTHEASTERN
MADISON AND SOUTH CENTRAL FRANKLIN COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 430 PM
CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.  However, heavy
rain is still possible with this thunderstorm.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 700 PM CDT for
north central and northeastern Alabama...and Middle Tennessee.

Remember, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for Northern 
Jackson County (AL) and southern Franklin County (TN) until 5 PM.
