The National Weather Service in Mount Holly NJ has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Sussex County in southern Delaware...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 822 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
  tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located over
  Bridgeville, or 14 miles northeast of Hurlock, moving east at 35
  mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Bridgeville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

This cluster of thunderstorms is capable of producing tornadoes and
widespread significant wind damage. Do not wait to see or hear the
tornado. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest
floor of a building.

...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM EDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX COUNTY...

At 831 PM EDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located near
Bridgeville, or 8 miles northwest of Georgetown, moving east at 40
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
northwestern Sussex County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHWESTERN SUSSEX COUNTY WILL EXPIRE AT
845 PM EDT...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been 
allowed to expire. However, damaging winds remain likely and a 
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
southern Delaware.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Mount Holly NJ.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
Sussex County until 930 PM EDT.
