The National Weather Service in Sioux Falls has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northwestern Aurora County in south central South Dakota...
  Southwestern Jerauld County in central South Dakota...
  Northern Brule County in south central South Dakota...

* Until 615 PM CDT.

* At 535 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located over Etbauer Hill, or 10 miles east of Fort 
  Thompson, moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over MAINLY RURAL AREAS of
  northwestern Aurora, southwestern Jerauld and northern Brule
  Counties, including the following locations... Pukwana.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

At 600 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 8 miles southeast of Gann Valley, or 12 miles north of
Kimball, moving southeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters reported a funnel cloud.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is 
         likely.
