Central Charles Mix County in south central South Dakota...
Southeastern Gregory County in south central South Dakota...
* Until 700 PM CDT.
* At 609 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Bonesteel, or
15 miles west of Lake Andes, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Damaging tornado and ping pong ball size hail.
SOURCE...Public confirmed tornado. At 609 PM a tornado was
reported on the ground northeast of Bonesteel!
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Pickstown and Lake Andes.

At 625 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 9 miles west of Pickstown, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and two inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
Locations impacted include...
Lake Andes, Pickstown, Bonesteel, Fairfax, and western Yankton Sioux
Tribal Nation.
