* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Hitchcock County in southwestern Nebraska...

* Until 445 PM CDT.

* At 402 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located over Stratton, or 11 miles west of Trenton, moving
  south at 10 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and tennis ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This dangerous storm will be near...
  Stratton around 410 PM CDT.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest

SOUTHWESTERN HITCHCOCK COUNTY...

At 409 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Stratton, or 11 miles west of Trenton, moving south
at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and three inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation. Spotter report of 3 inch hail 
         north of Stratton.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southwestern Hitchcock County.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR SOUTHWESTERN HITCHCOCK COUNTY HAS
EXPIRED...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for southwestern
Nebraska.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
Goodland.

Remember, a Severe Thunderstorm Warning still remains in effect for
HITCHCOCK COUNTY
