  Eastern Rawlins County in northwestern Kansas...

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 511 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Ludell, or near
  Atwood, moving southeast at 20 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado and tennis ball size hail.

  SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado near Atwood.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

SOUTHEASTERN RAWLINS COUNTY...

At 517 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located 5 miles southeast of
Ludell, or 8 miles east of Atwood, moving south at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Damaging tornado and tennis ball size hail.

SOURCE...Weather spotters confirmed tornado 1 mile east of Atwood 
         around 5:13PM

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southeastern Rawlins County.
