Southeastern Monongalia County in northern West Virginia...
* Until 630 PM EDT.
* At 603 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Fairmont, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
* Locations impacted include...
Fairmont, Winfield, Barrackville, Rivesville, Browns Chapel and
Baxter.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built building
away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a
vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect yourself
from flying debris.

CENTRAL MARION AND SOUTHEASTERN MONONGALIA COUNTIES...
At 613 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Winfield, or 6 miles east of Fairmont, moving east
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
