The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Southern Harrison County in south central Indiana...
East central Meade County in central Kentucky...
North central Hardin County in central Kentucky...
* Until 1130 PM EDT.
* At 1103 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located over Brandenburg, moving east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.
* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
southern Harrison, east central Meade and north central Hardin
Counties, including the following locations... Lodale, Mauckport,
Laconia, Evans Landing, New Boston, Rock Haven, Central, Titus,
Hughes Landing, and Howard.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.
Tornadoes are extremely difficult to see and confirm at night. Do not

AND NORTH CENTRAL HARDIN COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 1130 PM EDT...
The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 100 AM EDT for south central
Indiana. A Tornado Watch also remains in effect until 200 AM EDT for
central Kentucky.
