The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Eastern Randolph County in southwestern Illinois...

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 619 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located 9 miles southeast of St. Mary, or 12 miles 
  south of Chester, moving northeast at 65 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
           without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
           destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
           occur. Tree damage is likely.

* This tornado will be near...
  Chester around 630 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by the tornado include Rockwood, Welge, 
Shiloh Hill, Blair and Eden.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built 
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, 
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect 
yourself from flying debris.

was located near Percy, or 8 miles southeast of Sparta, moving 
northeast at 60 mph.
