The National Weather Service in St Louis has issued a
* Tornado Warning for...
Southeastern Washington County in south central Illinois...
* Until 700 PM CDT.
* At 628 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
tornado was located 14 miles southwest of Ashley, or 15 miles
south of Nashville, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
occur. Tree damage is likely.
* Other locations impacted by the tornado include Du Bois, Radom and
Richview.
This includes Interstate 64 in Illinois near exit 61.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home,
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect

At 637 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Du Bois, or 13 miles southeast of Nashville, moving
northeast at 55 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
