The National Weather Service in Memphis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Greene County in eastern Arkansas...
  Southwestern Clay County in eastern Arkansas...

* Until 715 PM CDT.

* At 636 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near OKean, or 7 miles east of Pocahontas, moving east
  at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and hail up to two inches in diameter.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Stonewall, Heubner, Marmaduke, Evening Star, Delaplaine, Fritz,
  Rector, Bard, Case, Brookings, Mounds, Halliday, Peach Orchard,
  Faulknerville, Noxburn, Beech Grove, Brighton, Paragould, Hargrave
  Corner, and Cotton Belt.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a storm shelter or an interior room on the
lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are
outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest
substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

NORTHEASTERN GREENE AND SOUTHWESTERN CLAY COUNTIES...

At 701 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located over Lafe, or near Marmaduke, moving east at 45 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and ping pong ball size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHEASTERN GREENE AND SOUTHWESTERN CLAY
COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 715 PM CDT...

The tornado threat has diminished and the Tornado Warning has been
cancelled. However, large hail and damaging winds remain likely and a
Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect for the area.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for eastern
Arkansas.
