* Until 630 AM CDT.
* At 548 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located over
Amory, moving east at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

Sipsey Fork, Becker, Quincy, Smithville, Turon, Splunge, Parham,
Amory, and Hatley.

At 554 AM CDT, a severe squall line capable of producing both
tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located near
Amory, moving east at 45 mph.

tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage was located 7 miles
southeast of Smithville, or 9 miles east of Amory, moving east at 45
mph.
