The National Weather Service in Bismarck has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Logan County in southeastern North Dakota...
  Western McIntosh County in southeastern North Dakota...
  East central Emmons County in south central North Dakota...

* Until 500 PM CDT.

* At 425 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located 7 miles northeast of Zeeland, or 19 miles north of
  Eureka, moving north at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of
  southwestern Logan, western McIntosh and east central Emmons
  Counties, including the following locations... Burnstad and Beaver
  Lake State Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter
and protect yourself from flying debris.

SOUTHWESTERN LOGAN...NORTHWESTERN MCINTOSH AND EAST CENTRAL EMMONS
COUNTIES...

At 443 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 10 miles southwest of Wishek, or 24 miles east of Linton,
moving north at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

Locations impacted include...
Wishek, Burnstad, and Beaver Lake State Park.
