* Until 430 PM CDT.
* At 355 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Fairbank, or 12 miles west of Oelwein, moving east
at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and half dollar size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree
damage is likely.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CDT for northeastern Iowa. To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service La Crosse.
