The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Northeastern Brown County in south central Indiana...
  Northwestern Bartholomew County in central Indiana...

* Until 815 PM EDT.

* At 754 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
  was located near Nashville, or 13 miles west of Columbus, moving
  east at 35 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Columbus, Nashville, Edinburgh, Gnaw Bone, and Taylorsville.

This includes Interstate 65 between mile markers 68 and 77.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a basement or an interior room on the lowest
floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a
mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter

NORTHEASTERN BROWN AND NORTHWESTERN BARTHOLOMEW COUNTIES...

At 803 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 7 miles northeast of Nashville, or 10 miles west of
Columbus, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
