Southeastern Fayette County in south central Illinois...
Northeastern Marion County in south central Illinois...
* Until 600 PM CDT.
* At 519 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located 5 miles northwest of Kinmundy, or 14 miles southeast of
Vandalia, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.

Kinmundy, St. Peter, Loogootee, Farina, Omega, Stephen Forbes
Station and La Clede.
This includes the following State Parks...
Stephen A. Forbes State Recreation Area.
This includes Interstate 57 in Illinois between exits 127 and 135.

was located over Farina, or 19 miles northeast of Salem, moving east
at 45 mph.
