* Tornado Warning for...
  Northern Benton County in west Tennessee...
  Henry County in west Tennessee...

* Until 1100 PM CDT.

* At 1018 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a
  tornado was located over Paris, moving northeast at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Haigler Ridge, Foundry Hill, Manleyville, Cottage Grove, Big Sandy,
  Old Springville, Crossland, Buchanan, India, Mill Creek, Puryear,
  Big Sandy Unit Tennessee National Wildlife Refuge, Osage,
  Sunnyside, Van Dyke, Whitlock, Springville, Spring Creek, Porter
  Court, and Conyersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a storm shelter or an interior room on the
lowest floor of a sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are
outdoors, in a mobile home, or in a vehicle, move to the closest
substantial shelter and protect yourself from flying debris.

At 1029 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Paris Landing State Park, moving northeast at 50
mph.

HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage

...THE TORNADO WARNING FOR NORTHERN BENTON AND HENRY COUNTIES WILL
EXPIRE AT 1100 PM CDT...

The storm which prompted the warning has moved out of the area.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for west
Tennessee.

Remember, a Tornado Warning still remains in effect for Vale and 
eastern Henry County until 11:30 PM.
