The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a

* Tornado Warning for...
  Southwestern Crawford County in east central Illinois...
  Jasper County in southeastern Illinois...

* Until 430 PM CDT.

* At 350 PM CDT, a confirmed tornado was located near Bogota, or 11
  miles southwest of Newton, moving northeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

  SOURCE...Emergency management confirmed tornado. At 3:47 PM, a 
           tornado was reported near Ingraham.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
           shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. 
           Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree 
           damage is likely.

* The tornado will be near...
  Bogota around 355 PM CDT.
  Newton around 400 PM CDT.
  Willow Hill around 410 PM CDT.

This also includes Newton Lake State Fish and Wildlife Area and Sam
Parr State Fish and Wildlife Area.

To repeat, a tornado is on the ground. TAKE COVER NOW! Move to a
basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy

At 403 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Newton, moving northeast at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tornado.

SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without 
         shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage 
         to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur.  Tree damage is 
         likely.

This dangerous storm will be near...
  Newton and Willow Hill around 410 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Yale,
Sam Parr State Park, and Hunt City.

This also includes Sam Parr State Fish and Wildlife Area.
