...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 
7 AM EST TUESDAY ABOVE 3500 FEET...

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 3500 feet. Total snow 
  accumulations of 3 to 7 inches, with 10 inches or more expected on 
  the high peaks of the Smokies. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...The high elevations of Swain County.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 7 AM EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will lead to blowing snow, reduced 
  visibility, and possible power outages. The heavy snow will make 
  many roads impassable and may produce power outages due to the 
  weight of the snow on tree limbs and power lines. Gusty winds 
  could bring down tree branches.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
