...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TUESDAY TO 1 AM EST 
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 
  inches.

* WHERE...Hamilton and Northern Herkimer Counties.

* WHEN...From 10 AM Tuesday to 1 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous 
  conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning 
  commutes.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The combination of snow from a clipper system 
  and lake effect snow behind it will lead to moderate accumulations 
  across the Adirondacks. Snow will begin late Tuesday morning or 
  early Tuesday afternoon for a few hours before a brief break later 
  in the afternoon. More persistent snow followed by lake effect 
  snow showers will follow late Tuesday afternoon through Wednesday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Slow down and use caution while traveling.

Be prepared for slippery roads. Slow down and use caution while 
driving. If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken 
on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and 
slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury.
