...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations of one to two
feet possible between 8,000 and 9,500 feet and 6 to 12 inches
possible between 6,000 and 8,000 feet. Winds could gust in excess
of 55 mph. Locally stronger winds and higher snow totals expected
in the Sierra Crest.
* WHERE...Eastern Sierra Slopes.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. Very
strong winds could cause extensive tree damage.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of heavy snow is expected today
and tomorrow. Snow levels will be around 6,000 feet.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. Call 1-800-427-7623 for road

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Additional snow accumulations up to 8 inches
between 7,000 and 9,000 feet with locally higher totals at
mountain tops. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.
* WHERE...White and Inyo Mountains.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Gusty winds could bring
down tree branches.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another round of heavy snow is expected today
and tomorrow. Snow levels will be around 6,000 feet. Travel on
Highway 168 especially through Westgard Pass will be difficult to
impossible at times.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* WHERE...Spring Mountains.
* WHEN...From 6 AM to 10 PM PST Friday.
* IMPACTS...Roads will likely become slick and hazardous. Travel
could be very difficult to impossible.
