...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Wisconsin, 
  including the following counties, in north central Wisconsin, 
  southeastern Langlade. In northeast Wisconsin, southeastern 
  Forest, northern Marinette, northwestern Menominee, northern 
  Oconto and western Shawano.

* WHEN...Until 845 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 539 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Antigo, Wittenberg, Pembine, Goodman, White Lake, Carter,
    Gardner Dam Scout Camp, McCaslin Mountain Natural Area,
    Neopit, Langlade, Wabeno, Dunbar, Polar, Townsend,
    Birnamwood, Lakewood, Silver Cliff, Mattoon, Bowler and
    Aniwa.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where 
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become 
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or 
creeks.

The Flood Advisory has expired for portions of north central and 
northeast Wisconsin, including the following areas, in north central 
Wisconsin, Langlade. In northeast Wisconsin, Forest, Marinette,

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a 
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
