...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 115 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Southern Garfield County in northeastern Montana...
South Central McCone County in northeastern Montana...
Prairie County in northeastern Montana...
* WHEN...Until 115 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 809 AM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have
fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding and
could make it nearly impassable on unpaved roadways today.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Terry, Fallon, Hillside, Cohagen, Edwards, Sand Springs, Crow
Rock, Mccloud, Zero and Calypso.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
