* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of northeast South Carolina, including the
following counties, Georgetown and Horry.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 550 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Myrtle Beach, Surfside Beach, Socastee, Myrtle Beach Airport,
Red Hill, Garden City, Murrells Inlet, Bucksville,
Forestbrook, Bucksport, Burgess, Horry Georgetown Technical
College Conway Campus, Coastal Carolina University,
Yauhannah, Conway Medical Center, Lighthouse Care Center Of
Conway and Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
