...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM MST THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.  Heavy 
  rain near Grand Canyon West will spread east through the evening. 
  Minor flooding expected and may impact Pierce Ferry Road and Route 
  66.

* WHERE...A portion of northwest Arizona, including the following 
  county, Mohave.

* WHEN...Until 1115 PM MST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 912 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grand Canyon Skywalk, Grand Canyon Ranch, Meadview, South
    Cove, Pierce Ferry And Antares Roads, Temple Bar Campground,
    Diamond Creek Campground, Dolan Springs, Temple Bar and Peach
    Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 943 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms near Grand Canyon West. Minor flooding is
    ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. A
    rain gage at Upper Diamond Bar Road reported 0.67 inches of
    rain in 30 minutes.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grand Canyon Skywalk, Grand Canyon Ranch, Meadview, South
    Cove, Pierce Ferry And Antares Roads, Temple Bar Campground,
    Diamond Creek Campground, Dolan Springs, Temple Bar and Peach
    Springs.
