In northeast Kansas, Jefferson. * WHEN...Until 330 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Rises in small streams. Overflowing poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1243 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Lawrence, Ottawa, Baldwin City, Oskaloosa, Eudora, Wellsville, Centropolis, Perry, McLouth, Pomona, Lecompton, Clinton, Richmond, Williamsburg, Lone Star, Princeton, Lane, Rantoul, Pleasant Grove and Globe. - This includes the following highways...
