...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 2 AM PDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southern California, including the following 
  counties, Riverside and San Bernardino.

* WHEN...Until 200 AM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1050 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Up to 0.5 inches of rain have
    fallen.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Desert Center, Chiriaco Summit, Eagle Mtn, Cottonwood Visitor
    and Midland.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where 
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become 
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or 
creeks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 146 AM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.25 and 0.75 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Desert Center, Chiriaco Summit, Eagle Mtn, Cottonwood Visitor
    and Midland.
