...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 AM CDT WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and northeast Missouri,
including the following counties, in central Missouri, eastern
Audrain and northeastern Callaway. In east central Missouri,
northwestern Lincoln, Montgomery and northwestern Warren. In
northeast Missouri, Pike and southeastern Ralls.
* WHEN...Until 1230 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 932 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Fulton, Mexico, Bowling Green, Vandalia, Louisiana,
Montgomery City, Wellsville, Auxvasse, New London, New
Florence, Eolia, Laddonia, Bellflower, Frankford, Farber,
Martinsburg, Curryville, Buell, New Hartford and Shamrock.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

- At 1051 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in
the advisory area along N Bluff Street at St. Eunice Road and
St Eunice Road at Cardinal Drive in Fulton. Between 1 and 3
inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...

The Flood Advisory will expire at 1230 AM CDT early this morning for
portions of central, east central, and northeast Missouri, including
the following areas, in central Missouri, Audrain and Callaway. In
east central Missouri, Lincoln, Montgomery and Warren. In northeast
Missouri, Pike and Ralls.
The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a
threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
A Flood Watch remains in effect until 400 AM CDT for portions of
central, east central, and northeast Missouri...
