...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 645 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and north central Texas, including the 
  following counties, in central Texas, Henderson. In north central 
  Texas, Ellis and Navarro.

* WHEN...Until 645 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This
    will likely cause urban and small stream flooding. Low lying
    and/or poor drainage areas will experience minor flooding in
    the advisory area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have
    fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are
    forecast.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Ennis, Gun Barrel City, Mabank, Tool, Seven Points, Trinidad,
    Alma, Enchanted Oaks, Caney City, Flag Lake, Cedar Creek
    Reservoir, Rice, Payne Springs, Log Cabin, Star Harbor,
    Chatfield, Roane and Mankin.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
