...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 445 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...In Wisconsin, Burnett County.

* WHEN...Until 445 PM CDT Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is 
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 330 PM CDT Wednesday, the public reported flooding in the
    advisory area.  Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grantsburg, Trade Lake, Siren, Webster, Webb Lake Wisconsin,
    Saint Croix Band Clam Lake Area, Saint Croix Band Pike Lake
    area, Danbury, Saint Croix Band Sand Lake Area, Hertel, Saint
    Croix Band Bashaw area, Branstad, Randall, Oakland, Clam Lake
    near Siren, Yellow Lake, Falun, Big Sand Lake, Saint Croix
    Band Danbury area and Alpha.
  - Flood safety information can be found at

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Report observed flooding to local emergency services or law 
enforcement and to the National Weather Service in Duluth when you 
can do so safely. Flooding can be reported to the National Weather 
Service at 1-800-685-8612.
