...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM EDT FRIDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Ohio, including
the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Crawford,
Knox, Morrow and Richland. In northeast Ohio, Holmes and Wayne.
* WHEN...Until 230 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1117 PM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges
indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mansfield, Wooster, Ashland, Millersburg, Galion, Shelby,
Orrville, Berlin, Rittman, Ontario, Lexington, Crestline,
Walnut Creek, Doylestown, Loudonville, Creston, Bellville,
Dalton, Shreve and Killbuck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Weather Service when you can do so safely.
