...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1030 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of south central Alabama, including the following
counties, Conecuh, Escambia and Monroe and northwest Florida,
including the following counties, Escambia and Santa Rosa.
* WHEN...Until 1030 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Overflowing poor drainage areas. Some low-water
crossings may become impassable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 723 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Monroeville, Brewton, Century, Flomaton, Frisco City, East
Brewton, Uriah, Excel, Jay, Repton, Pollard, Riverview, I65
And AL 113, Wallace, Hammac, Foshee, Pineview, Barnett
Crossroads, Stanley Crossroads and Osaka.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.
