...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CDT EARLY THIS MORNING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Northern Iowa County in south central Wisconsin...
Southwestern Sauk County in south central Wisconsin...
* WHEN...Until 300 AM CDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1202 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or
expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and
1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Spring Green, Barneveld, Highland, Arena, Plain, Avoca, Clyde,
Governor Dodge St Park, Blackhawk Lake Rec Area and Blue Mound St
Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a

County.
