...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT EARLY THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...The following counties, in central Ohio, Fayette. In south 
  central Ohio, Highland and Ross.

* WHEN...Until 500 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 156 AM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of
    rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1
    inch are possible.
  - Some locations that may experience flooding include...
    Greenfield, Leesburg, Frankfort, Clarksburg, Highland, South
    Salem, New Martinsburg, East Monroe, Lattaville, Austin,
    Bourneville and Samantha.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

To report flooding, go to our website at weather.gov/iln and submit 
your report via social media, when you can do so safely.
