.Extremely heavy rainfall will move through the advisory area this 
afternoon creating dangerous driving conditions along with ponding 
of water in poor drainage locations.

...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive 
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of central Alabama, including the following 
  counties, Barbour, Bullock and Pike.

* WHEN...Until 400 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 
  Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is 
  imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1259 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    heavy rainfall. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding.
  - Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches will occur over the area in
    a short amount of time. This rain will result in minor
    flooding.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

    over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
    flooding.
