* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...South Central Fremont County in central Wyoming over the
Weiser Knoll Burn Scar...
* WHEN...Until 915 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 612 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.2 inches of rain
have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Dry Twin Creek, West Fork Cottonwood Creek, Critnan Creek, Red
Canyon Creek, Beaver Creek, North Fork Hall Creek, Stambaugh
Creek, East Fork Cottonwood Creek, Twin Creek and Tweed Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over
the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.

Mainly rural areas of South Central Fremont County over the
Weiser Knoll Burn Scar.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.
