* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is
expected.
* WHERE...Central Fremont County in central Wyoming...
* WHEN...Until 1045 PM MDT.
* IMPACTS...Rises in small streams and normally dry arroyos.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 739 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding. Between 1.5
and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Little Popo Agie River, Beaver Creek, Ninemile Draw, Preachers
Draw, Monument Draw, Sand Gulch, Little Wind River, North Fork
Ballenger Draw, Popo Agie River and Preacher Draw.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mainly rural areas of Central Fremont County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

The heavy rain has ended. Small stream flooding is no longer expected
to pose a threat, but light to moderate rain will continue for the
