...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM PDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Central San Diego County in southwestern California...

* WHEN...Until 245 PM PDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1239 PM PDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 1.25 inches of rain
    have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are expected over
    the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Cuyamaca Rancho State Park, Descanso, Pine Valley, Lake Cuyamaca
    and Guatay.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
