...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 AM CDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following 
  counties, Crockett, Schleicher and Sutton.

* WHEN...Until 915 AM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. 

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 603 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of
    rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 0.75 inches are
    expected over the area. This additional rain will result in
    minor flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Sonora, Eldorado, The Intersection Of I-10 And Ranch Road
    1989, The Intersection Of Us-277 And Ranch Road 189 and
    Us-277 Near The Sutton-Schleicher County Line.
  - This includes Interstate 10 between Mile Markers 382 and 410.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, dont drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
